Sabitha Rahim is an educator, researcher, and teacher trainer with a deep commitment to advancing meaningful learning and professional development in education.
She holds a Doctorate in Education along with Master’s degree in English Literature, graduating as a Gold Medalist. Her academic and professional preparation includes internationally recognized qualifications such as the Cambridge CELTA, Train-the-Trainer certification, and formal training in teacher education and pedagogical development.

Sabitha has taught English and academic communication across diverse educational settings, including International Indian School Jeddah (IISJ) and the English Language Institute at King Abdulaziz University (KAU). She also served as an Academic Counsellor with ATEICO in Jeddah, working closely with postgraduate students in English studies.

Beyond classroom teaching, Sabitha has played an active leadership role in teacher development. As Professional Development Committee Head at the English Language Institute, King Abdulaziz University, she designed and facilitated professional learning initiatives aimed at strengthening instructional practice and supporting faculty growth.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of teacher motivation, professional development engagement, and institutional culture, with a particular interest in how meaningful professional learning environments can empower educators and improve student outcomes. She is also interested in the application of neuroscience and neuroplasticity in education, exploring how insights from brain science can inform teaching and learning practices.
